Ruskin Florida is undergoing a renaissance, fueled by proximity to nature's coastal and river habitats; downtown revitalization and outlying residential and light industrial development.

Ruskin boasts a new 40,000 sq. ft. regional library and a community college campus set to open in August 2008. As unique shops and eateries open up along this stretch of the historic Tamiami Trail, U. S. Highway 41 will once again lead folks to small-town life in an "Old Florida" setting.
